Apple Watch Cannot Make Calls – How to Fix It

If your Apple Watch is not making calls, it could be due to connectivity issues, incorrect settings, or carrier-related problems. This guide provides step-by-step solutions to resolve the issue and restore calling functionality.

Check Basic Requirements

Ensure Your Apple Watch Has Calling Capabilities

  • If using a GPS-only model, your iPhone must be nearby for calls to work.
  • If using a Cellular model, ensure your watch is connected to a mobile plan.

Ensure Your iPhone is Connected

  • Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  • Go to My Watch > General > About and ensure the watch is paired correctly.

Check Network Connection

Ensure Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Cellular is Enabled

  1. Open Settings on your Apple Watch.
  2. Go to Wi-Fi and ensure it is connected.
