How to Reset JBL Xtreme 3 Speaker

If your JBL Xtreme 3 is not working correctly-won’t pair, won’t turn off, or has connection issues-you can perform a factory reset to clear all settings and Bluetooth connections.

Steps to Reset JBL Xtreme 3

  1. Turn on the speaker
    • Press the Power button to switch it on.
  2. Press and hold the reset button combination
    • Hold down Volume Up (+) and Bluetooth buttons simultaneously.
    • Keep holding them for about 10–15 seconds, until the speaker powers off or restarts.
  3. Turn the speaker back on
    • Press the Power button again.
    • The speaker should now be fully reset to factory settings.

What the Reset Does

  • Erases all paired Bluetooth devices
  • Resets volume, sound, and firmware-related glitches
  • Makes the speaker ready for fresh pairing

After Reset: Reconnect Your Device

  1. Put the speaker into pairing mode by pressing the Bluetooth button until the light starts flashing.
  2. On your phone or computer, go to Bluetooth settings and select the JBL Xtreme 3 to pair.

If problems persist after resetting, update the firmware using the JBL Portable app, or contact JBL Support for further help.
