If your JBL Xtreme 3 is not working correctly-won’t pair, won’t turn off, or has connection issues-you can perform a factory reset to clear all settings and Bluetooth connections.
Steps to Reset JBL Xtreme 3
- Turn on the speaker
- Press the Power button to switch it on.
- Press and hold the reset button combination
- Hold down Volume Up (+) and Bluetooth buttons simultaneously.
- Keep holding them for about 10–15 seconds, until the speaker powers off or restarts.
- Turn the speaker back on
- Press the Power button again.
- The speaker should now be fully reset to factory settings.
What the Reset Does
- Erases all paired Bluetooth devices
- Resets volume, sound, and firmware-related glitches
- Makes the speaker ready for fresh pairing
After Reset: Reconnect Your Device
- Put the speaker into pairing mode by pressing the Bluetooth button until the light starts flashing.
- On your phone or computer, go to Bluetooth settings and select the JBL Xtreme 3 to pair.
If problems persist after resetting, update the firmware using the JBL Portable app, or contact JBL Support for further help.
