Incognito mode is a browser feature in Google Chrome that allows you to browse anonymously – without leaving any traces of your internet activity.
In questo articolo potete leggere due cose:
- How to open a Chrome browser in incognito mode
- How to set Chrome to consistently launch in incognito mode
Open Chrome in incognito mode
- Right-click the Chrome icon in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen
- Click on the New incognito window menu item
- An incognito mode Chrome window will open; it can be recognized by the small spy figure in the top left corner of the browser
Alternative 1: You can also open incognito windows from the Chrome menu in the top right corner of the browser
Alternative 2: In Chrome, you can also open incognito windows using the shortcut keys Ctrl + Shift + N
Consistently launch Chrome in incognito mode
If you want Chrome to always start in incognito mode by default, you can do this as follows:
- Right-click on the Chrome icon in the Windows taskbar
- Right-click on Google Chrome
- Fare clic su Proprietà
- Type “ -incognito” (a space, a hyphen and the word ‘incognito’) in the ‘Destination’ field and then click OK
Please note that this setting only applies to the Chrome icon in the taskbar (which is actually a shortcut). If you open Chrome from anywhere else on your computer (such as a desktop shortcut), the same changes must also be made here for the browser to consistently start up in incognito mode.
